"Monocacy Mist 2"

I count myself very fortunate to live in an area so full of beautiful places.  The C&O Canal running through Frederick and Montgomery Counties is a treasure and I have been exploring its full 184 miles for nearly my entire life.  This image was made in late August 2010 at dawn. When I started out the morning mist was lurking in the bottoms, the sky was decorated with spreading cloud and after making the image “Maryland Morning”, I knew the mist would still be lingering heavily on the river.
