"Devils Kitchen"

Devils Kitchen is a silver gelatin contact print.  The negative was made with the modified Korona 8x10 camera on TMAX 100 film.  The exposure was F284, 8 seconds with a red filter.

I used the red filter to darken the sky and help hold the white of the moving clouds in the sky.  Devils Kitchen is a cliff on Sugarloaf Mountain in Frederick County Maryland.
