"Catoctin Cascade" ~ 12 x 17"

Catoctin Cascade is now available as an archival pigment print.  The negative was made with the Trashcan camera loaded with a piece of 20”x24” photo paper as film and the exposure was 18 minutes at F284 with a yellow filter.  I digitally photographed this negative and used Photoshop to adjust tone and contrast as well as reduce the image size.
The photograph was made in Catoctin State Park in Frederick County, Maryland near Camp David in March.  The camera is positioned right in the middle of a small creek and the water streamed all around it,  yea! duct tape! Rocks on top helped hold it steady. I love the sensuous lines of the water.
